The shaver is great especially for coarse and hard to shave hair. I highly recommend it to African American men having difficulty with shaving their face, head, and having difficulty with razor bumps.

For some reason, it is very difficult to find. I purchased one for my father years ago and he still loves it.

THE ULTIMATE SHAVER
This is the best shaver I've used. When my original Remington 845 broke, which had to be around 10 years old, I tried to go with other "top of the line" shavers and they didn't deliver at all. I paid over 0 for some of them and was completely unsatisfied. After a couple of months, I went back to this shaver and wouldn't have it any other way. I highly recommend this product.

Elegant but not very useful
Positive:
- VERY elegant design!
(personally, I would have preferred a "silver" case, instead of gold)
- low battery consumption

Negative:
- no trimmer
- small shaving area, with that slow shave (a large part of the foil area does not even have holes)
- tendency to catch a single hair, and then not cut it "fast enough".
Result, as you "move on" the shaver pulls those hairs. That hurts.
- unexpectedly heavy
- NOT water resistant (no "wet/ dry" shaves).
This makes cleaning of the tiny cutter block more difficult.
- cleaning brush not "clipped into" the case (as with the Braun 370)
I.e.. if you have to keep the brush separately, why not make it large?

Summary:
This shaver is mostly about "style".
Should impress the hotel's staff, when you leave it on the dresser.

Compact!
It is good for travelingh. I ordered it as a replacement for my full size Norelco, which I lost half-way during my deployment in Afghanistan. The vendor does not ship to APO address. I had it shipped home, then to me via USPS. Therefore, it took longer to get here. It is still working well after a couple of months. Although I noticed it nicked the skin more when you push it down to get a closer shave.

Ultra Thin Travel Shaver
This is the third Ultra Thin Travel Shaver I have purchased...I keep one in my travel bag and at home and vacation place. I use only for tough hairs on my upper lip and wet shave the rest of my face. Not sure how this would work on the whole face but might be good for late afternoon touch-ups. Works great as it is thin, easy to maneuver and takes regular AAA batteries so chargers not needed. I have never replaced one so they seem to last a long time. Highly recommended.

compact shaver works fine for quickies
This is exactly what I was looking for--something really small and light and which actually works, to take on short trips or remove the 5 o'clock shadow. I'm sick of hauling a heavy can of shaving soap, or finding it empty. Not a bad price either.

Great Shaver!
This really is a great product !! I tried everything regarding shaving, Multi-blades, single blade everything! And i came across this shaver, and what struck me so odd about it, is that its a wet/dry shaver.
I really enjoy this razor, i use it everyday in the shower with all my shaving creams! I get a great against the grain shave, very smooth! And i've never been able to shave against the grain.
It dosen't get all the hairs on the neck area and all, but it's nothing to have a little dissposible razor to get a few missed hairs.
The trimmer dosen't really do much for me. because i don't have a goatee or anything. And it does seem sort of flimsy.
The Charger/cleaner is good, its loud but good. I seem to think that just rinsing it in the shower does just as good if not better of a job, but i think maybe the cleaning base may have some "sterlizing" properties that are good for a clean shave.
Over all this is a good product, and will buy again when my wears out.

Excellent Shave
Shaver works very well and provides an excellent shave. The only surprise is that shaver needs to be plugged out while operating. I wonder why? But it works well as a cordless so alright with me. Top Notch shaver.

Works great!
I bought this shaver for shaving my head and it works great...probably takes a little longer than using the traditional method, but, I don't cut my head either! I just sit in front of the T.V. and have at it...usually done in 10-15 minutes, depending how long I go between shaves. I would recommend this item to anyone look for a good shaver at a fair price.

a disappointment for sure...
Bought this in February of 2008 so it is ~20 months old right now. No longer holds a charge for more than a day or two. Have to leave it on constant charge to be sure of being able to use it.
Since new it has often refused to start if switched off in the middle of a shave and quickly turned back on. Setting it in the charger for a couple of minutes required to get it going again.
Battery technology in this thing was obviously not a strong point and not at all what I expected for a fairly expensive (at time of purchase) shaver.
Cleaning cycle does not always dry the shaver properly. The smell of the shave head after cleaning isn't the greatest - not at all fresh smelling the way I expected. Cleaning cycle not sufficient to deep clean razor - manual brushing and rinsing is still required periodically.
Slow shaving and have to go over and over a couple of places on my neck, probably go over everything 2-3 times routinely. Some neck hairs almost never do actually get cut.
Will probably throw this out when I am finished with the last few cleaning cartridges I have on hand. Very disappointed in this shaver.

Poor Recharge Capabilities
Still using Ca-Ni recharge battery. Can hold any charge. Loss power in just one week without using. Don't buy it.

portable oral irrigator
It worked as described. I thought it had alot of power for a battery operated appliance. I like having it a work to clean my braces after lunch. Happy with the purchase. Also took it on a cruise and it was great to have in absence of my water pik.

So handy for traveling!
I have enjoyed using this irrigator -- both traveling, and having to move temporarily to another bathroom to accommodate house guests. It is really handy, and quiet.

This is the best one I have tried!
I love it! The pressure is also fantastic. More so than others.

Not so great
Not the best. You are definitely better off buying one with a plug. I can't even change the batteries. I would not buy it again.

Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator w/ 165 Tank
I bought this unit for my son who has braces. It does an excellent job of getting trapped food out of his braces. He actually enjoys cleaning his teeth with this item. A very good buy. I highly recommend this item for anyone.
